Waterless Environment
We did not deliberately set out to become the UK's waterless environmental design and print company, it's just that the more we found out the more determined we were to make a positive difference. With the sudden realisation some years ago of the real damage done to the environment by the printing industry and its waste and by-products, an immediate shift in policy was set in motion at Seacourt.
An enormous investment in both time and money was made to convert the printing operation of Seacourt to a Waterless Offset system. There is no doubt that Waterless Offset printing is one of the most environmentally important innovations ever to affect the printing industry.
The process is simple, it means that we no longer use and pollute vast amounts of water in the printing process and have reduced the amount of Volatile Organic compounds that are emitted into the atmosphere by over 98%!
It simply just makes sense.
