Why winning in Oxfordshire is so special to us

We’re thrilled to lift not one but TWO accolades in this year’s Oxfordshire Business

Anyone who knows Seacourt will be aware of the many trophies and certifications we are proud to receive over the years. However, here’s why winning in Oxfordshire is really special for us and our Seacourt family ...

It’s local. While we provide print services to major brands across the UK and Europe, Seacourt remains a family firm which was established in Oxford in 1946. Gaining such recognition on our home turf makes us feel part of this rich, dynamic community like never before.

It proves our point. Building a business that doesn’t harm the planet is only one half of the equation. Obviously you have to be commercially successful ... otherwise you’re not a business, right? We added 30% to our turnover last year, so being recognised for our outstanding performance solidly underwrites our sustainability values.

It’s inspiring. While we are leading the print industry in environmental sustainability, it is fundamentally critical for us to inspire firms everywhere that there is another way. We’re hoping the awards will alert business owners around our home town to the reality that it is possible to change and grow while reducing your carbon footprint.

We’re hugely grateful to Knights, BRITA and the organisers of the Oxfordshire Business Awards for such votes of confidence among so many impressive finalists. Most of all, thanks to our Seacourt team, our customers and everyone around us who shares our commitment to environmental sustainability.

Feel inspired? If our achievements inspire you to make your firm more sustainable, take a look at the Better Business Pack, the programme we have designed to help firms become more sustainable without it costing the earth. Just select from simple actions that will make your businesses kinder to the planet, and see where it takes you.

And buy your print from Seacourt, the only way to ensure your printed communications help the environment not harm it.
